Portland Academy was a redevelopment of a redundant MOD building into a teaching academy. The building was refurbished, extended and sections were renewed to ensure a larger more practical use for the academy. The school provides teaching facilities for students from the age of 4 – 19. The building offers an open modern teaching space, theatre, swimming pool, music/art/drama studio and a professional kitchen.
Rentec did a full Mechanical and Electrical installation including Above Ground Drainage, Domestic Water, LTHW Heating, Ventilation, LV Distribution, Internal and External Lighting, Access Control, CCTV and Alarms, Building Management System and Lightning Protection.
