Rentec are carrying out mechanical and electrical contract work to the Europa House project, a scheme compromising redevelopment to create new high-end student accommodation. The property was previously offices, comprising a 12 storey office block and a three storey annex, all of which will be converted to offer student’s accommodation in the form of studios and two, three and four bed apartments. The accommodation will be aimed at undergraduates in their second and third year of university, post graduates and international students. The six storey car park below the tower is set to be retained as an overflow car park for the Gunwharf Quays shopping complex. The building will be managed 24 hours a day by a student management operator.
