Samuel Cody SEMH School opened in September 2022 and provides spaces for 90 children in years 5 – 11 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This project was a new build construction over two storeys and consisted of 16 general teaching classrooms, therapy & small group rooms, a dining hall & kitchen, toilets and a parent meeting room. Operated by Hampshire County Council, the campus also includes a new multi-use games area and outdoor gym area, sensory garden, hard and soft social spaces, a grassed playfield, and landscaping.
Rentec provided a full Mechanical and Electrical installation including Heating, Plumbing, Drainage, Ventilation, Building Management System, LV Distribution, Internal and External Lighting, Data Network, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV System, Sprinkler System, Audio Induction Loop and a Solar Photovoltaics system consisting of 15 panels.
